Amway Corporation reduced under-nutrition in children under 5 with our nutrition expertise and a customized micronutrient supplement,Nutrilite™ Little Bits™. Amway successfully partnered with 25+ companies, organizations, and governments in 14 countries. Lastly, Amway investigated a market-based approach to implement nutrition improvement program to reduce chronic malnutrition in children under 5.
Nutrilite™ Little Bits™ is based on the World Health Organization’s guidance for MNPs with 15 vitamins and minerals. Additionally, Amway is partnering with CARE and many local implementation partners who operate existing nutrition and education programs. Amway has provided Nutrilite™ Little Bits™, behavior change communication materials and resources to implementation partners to ensure critical nutrients are incorporated into the daily diets of tens of thousands of children. Amway provides annual updates on the progress of research, the impact, and the number of children who receive Nutrilite™ Little Bits™.
Between 2015 and 2019 Amway distributed 5 million boxes of Nutrilite™ Little Bits™ (each box contains a 1-month supply per child).
