The ISLAC - COVID-19 project in Latin America and the Caribbean: Impact on Health Services for Women, Children and Adolescents, is carrying out a quantitative and qualitative operational research in real time on the COVID-19 pandemic in 25 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama , Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela), on women's, child and adolescent health issues to inform public policies and resource allocation.

On 13th July 2020, the UN Secretary-General's Independent Accountability Panel for Every Woman Every Child launched its 2020 Report: Caught in the COVID-19 storm: women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health in the context of UHC and the SDGs. This is an informative video on Leadership and Action.

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition is a voluntary partnership of 70 governments and 77 intergovernmental organizations, businesses, scientific institutions and civil society organizations committed to protecting the climate and improving air quality through actions to reduce short-lived climate pollutants. The Climate and Clean Air Coalition's Household Energy Initiative aims to reduce black carbon emissions from cooking, heating and lighting to improve health and slow the rate of climate change.
