Welcome to Colombia Climate Week 2020, official event of The Climate Group in partnership with the Green Chamber of Commerce, KIMSA and Brigard Urrutia, with the support of the US Green Chamber of Commerce, Grupo Doble Ele, LIM (Leadership in Motion ), Peace Startup Foundation, Sostenerte, Agenda Ambiental and Conscious Global Market. The Climate Group has organized Climate Week NYC since 2009 (https://www.climateweeknyc.org/event/colombia-climate-week).
In the Colombian version of the event, you will learn about innovative climate solutions from scientific research and ancestral knowledge, sustainable companies and enterprises, and cultural and artistic manifestations promoted by NGOs and social and environmental movements of civil society. Our purpose is to motivate participants to generate new ideas, change their lifestyles and, through new sustainable consumption habits, influence production and marketing patterns in our economy that affect the climate, taking into account the inspiring practices that they will meet at the event.
More than 40 representatives of pioneering organizations who think differently and seek to scale their impact on the economy and society will participate in the conferences, panels and cultural and artistic activities to contribute effective solutions to face the climate emergency.
We will share the detailed program with you in due course here on Eventbrite. We anticipate that we will have sessions between 9 am and 8 pm on Monday, September 21, between 5 and 8 pm from Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24, between 3 and 6 pm on Friday 25 and finally between 9 am and 12 pm on Sunday 26 .
