UNICEF and the Government of Finland warmly invite you to a webinar and launch of our draft Policy Guidance on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Children on 16 September 2020 from 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. EDST/New York. The draft guidance aims to promote children’s rights in government and private sector AI policies and practices and raise awareness of how AI systems can uphold or undermine these rights. The document was co-developed through a global consultation process with AI, child, and digital rights experts, as well as children and adolescents. The webinar will consist of presentations on UNICEF’s AI for Children project and the policy guidance, a discussion with our pilot partners — who will test the draft guidance in the coming months — and an invitation for the public to provide further input on the guidance.
